4/18/24… Tulsa, Oklahoma: Saturday Night, Annalesia Miller was once again in action at Port City Raceway. After the previous weekend’s feature was rained out, Annalesia had a full night on deck, plus the makeup feature.
She started the night out with some more issues. The car would not start for the makeup feature or hot laps. That meant that she’d miss the feature & hot laps. Her crew was hard at work to get it ready, & luckily they’d have the car ready for heat race action.
The heat race saw Annalesia roll off from the outside of row three in the 6th starting spot. She quickly went to work to gain as many spots as possible. Annalesia was able to gain two spots, getting to fourth & finishing there which locked her into the feature.
Making the feature, Annalesia rolled off from the inside of row seven in the 13th starting spot. Starting deep, she was able to get some more laps under her belt. Annalesia fell back to the 14th spot & finished the feature event there.
“I fell back a spot in the feature, but for not having many laps & this being the first checkered we saw this season, we aren’t mad.”
Despite a tough start to the night, they were able to get a handle on the issues & make it out for the full night’s show. She was able to lock into the feature through the heat race & run every lap, finishing in the 14th spot.
