9/21/23… Tulsa, Oklahoma: Friday & Saturday Night, Annalesia Miller was back at it at Port City Raceway. She would be looking to rebound from a tough weekend the weekend before. Unfortunately, more bad luck would strike for Annalesia.
She would start the night out with heat race action where she started outside of the front row. Annalesia would get a great start & jump out to the lead. From there, she would go on to lead every lap & win her heat race.
That slated Annalesia to start 3rd in the feature event. Early on, she would miss her marks as she ran the bottom on a top dominate track. Once she moved up she was able to move forward. Unfortunately, two cars would wreck in front of her, leaving her nowhere to go. Annalesia would get into them & break her front end, bringing the night to an end.
"In the heat race I got a good start and led every lap. In the A-main I got an okay start but went into it thinking there was still a little bit of a bottom. I fell pretty far back but moved up to the top & was really good on the top. Two cars would wreck infront of me & I didn’t have anywhere to go and ended up breaking some stuff in my front end a dnf.”
Going into Saturday, they made repairs & Annalesia would look to put a good night together. The heat race started out rough, as she started 1st but fell back to 6th. She would end up running some good laps at the end of the heat race & looked good heading into the feature.
Unfortunately, the feature came to a quick end. She started on the outside of the front row & quickly jumped out to lead. However, on lap two she would get into the wall & damage the car. She would end up being a DNF & finishing 14th.
“In the heat race I didnt get a good start at all and was just over driving in the beginning but got some good laps at the end. I got a really good start in the A-main & pulled into the lead but got put into the wall on the second lap and DNF.“
It was another tough weekend for Annalesia. She once again was very fast, but didn’t get the results to show for it. She will be back in action on Saturday at Port City Raceway.
