Annalesia Miller Runner-up At Port City Raceway!

By: Fast Time Media

5/23/24… Friday & Saturday Night, Annalesia Miller was back in action at Port City Raceway. This time, it was for two nights of racing action. She ended up having a good weekend which was highlighted by a runner-up finish on Friday.

She started Friday with heat race action. With the drop of the green, she started off on the outside of row three in the 6th spot. They had the car a set up good & Annalesia would finish in the 4th spots, gaining a pair of positions.

The feature rolled around & shed roll off from the pole position. Annalesia pulled off & was able to grab the lead. She led about half the laps, but fell to 2nd. From there, she’d go on to finish the feature in the 2nd position.

“My dad had the car fast for the heat race & the track was good. In the feature, I led about half the race but I was struggling to figure out 1&2. My dad had the car good & after the year we have had so far I was just grateful to be up front again.”

Saturday Night didn’t start how they’d hoped it would. She started on the pole but the engine issues forced her to pull off on lap one. That put her in the B-main where she’d start in 6th. From 6th, Annalesia made her way to the 3rd spot & finished there.

That locked her into the feature where she’d start in the 17th spot. The motor issues continued as she struggled on the bottom of the track. Ripping the top, Annalesia made her way to the 13th spot & finished the feature there.

“I started on the pole of the heat race, we had some slight motor issues night 1 so we tried changing some things but it didn’t work causing me to pull in on lap 1. Started the B-main 6th & got up to 3rd. My dad had the car really fast but the motor was still struggling, so we ended up changing more stuff which ended up helping a bit. I started 17th in the feature and got up to 13th. We changed the fuel pump which help while I was running the top but with my motor I couldn’t run the bottom.”

It was a solid weekend for Annalesia at Port City. Despite struggling with motor issues, she was able to finish 2nd on Friday Night & move forward on Saturday Night.
