Annalesia Miller Takes Home 7th Place Finish at Port City Raceway!

By: Fast Time Media

6/29/23… Tulsa, Oklahoma: Friday & Saturday, Annalesia Miller was back in action at Port City Raceway. She would put together some solid results, with a 12th place finish on Friday Night & a 7th place finish on Saturday Night.

Friday Night started out with qualifying, as Annalesia Miller was the 5th car out in group two. She ended up going out & going 4th quickest overall. That lined her up on the pole of her heat race. She would battle for the lead but ended up spinning. Annalesia restarted in the back & ended up finishing 6th.

“I went out for qualifying the car was a little tight and I qualified 4th in my group. They inverted the top 4 for our heat race & that put me on the pole. On the first lap I didn’t get a good start and the car that started in second chopped me going into one. I spun out and on the restart they told me and the other back row car to flip flop. I pulled back to let him move up on the back stretch and they went green. I shouldn’t have pulled back but I got some good laps in.”

That started Annalesia on the outside of row nine in the 18th spot. Starting deep, Annalesia began to move forward. She charged forward in the feature, going from 18th to 12th & finishing the feature event there.

“I started 18th in the A & the car felt good. I got up to 12th.”

Saturday Night began with Annalesia being the 5th car to hit the track in her group. Annalesia ended up laying down a really good lap & going QuickTime in her group. That started her 4th in her heat race & she would finish where she started in 4th.

“The car felt good for qualifying, got some good laps and got quick time. Because of the invert I started 4th in my heat. I got an okay start but I was battling for third for about three of four laps then my motor started stumbling. I stayed and finished in 4th.”

When the feature event rolled around, Annalesia would roll off from the outside of row five in 10th. Starting 10th, Early on, Annalesia rolled the bottom & middle until it went away. When she moved to the top, she moved forward to 7th where she would finish.

“I started 10th in the A main car was fast. I ran the bottom/middle for about half the race but it went away fast so I moved to the top. I was fast up there and got up to 7th.”

Annalesia put together another solid weekend at Port City Raceway. She now has a few weekends off before returning to action in middle to late July.
