Annalesia Miller Takes On First KKM Giveback!

By: Fast Time Media

10/26/23… Tulsa, Oklahoma: This Past Weekend, Annalesia Miller would be in action at Port City Raceway. She’d be back in the Restricted Micro, but this time she’d take the wing off for three nights of action for the KKM Giveback race.

She would kick the weekend off with time trials. With 45 cars, they’d be split into groups. Annalesia would end up timing in 7th quickest in her group. That set her up to start 7th in the heat race. She’s end up slipping backwards as they struggled to get her comfortable in the car.

That put her starting in the 14th spot for the B-main event. It seemed as she finally got comfortable in the car in the B-main. She’s rip off some pretty good laps & gain a few spots. Ultimately, she’d end up finishing in the 11th spot & ending her Night One.

“In qualifying I went 7th quick in my group. Went from 7th to 9th in the heat & was struggling to figure the car out. It finally started to click in the B-main. I was struggling a lot in my head but ran some good laps in the B.”

Friday went much better to start the night. This time in her group, Annalesia was able to time in 3rd quickest. That set her up to start 2nd but she’d end up falling backwards. When the checkered flag fell on the heat race, she’d finish in the 6th spot.

That put Annalesia into the B-main where she’d roll off from the 11th spot. There wasn’t much passing as the race went on, but Annalesia would rip off some more solid laps. Once again, she’d finish the B-main in the 11th spot & end night two of her KKM Giveback early on Friday.

Going into Saturday, she was lined up in the back of an LCQ. On the very first lap, cars would get together. Annalesia had nowhere to go & she was collected. The axle would be messed up, but she stayed on track to try & get some spots back. Unfortunately, she couldn’t as the car was very difficult to drive & she finished 9th.

That put her starting 14th for the B-main. The team had work to do to fix the car but they were quickly on it. Unfortunately, the tie rod was buried into the radius rod, & the car was impossible to drive. She’s go out on track & spin twice, having to pull in & bring her weekend to an end.

“On the first laps of the LCQ, cars got together in front of me. I ended up waffling the right front & shoving the axle back. I tried my best to gain spots back but I couldn’t with how the car was. We had to swap axles, thankfully my family & friends got on it. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize the tie rod was buried into the radius rod. That kept me from turning & I spun out in turns 1 & 2 and turns 3 & 4 and had to pull off.“

It was a rough ending to a weeeknd with ups & downs for Annalesia. She had a tough night Thursday, but was very fast on Friday before battling bad luck on Saturday & bringing her weekend to an early end.
