7/2/24… Antioch, California: Saturday Night, Anthony Bruno was in action in the Wingless Sprint Car. A solid field of 12 Wingless Sprint Cars would be in attendance as they would be in action at Antioch Speedway.
The night got off to a quick start with heat race action. He would roll off from the inside of the third row in the 5th spot. Starting 5th, Anthony ended up gaining a pair of spots. He’d get up to 3rd & finish the heat race there.
Going out for the feature event, Anthony rolled off from the pole position. Starting 1st, he’d end up falling backwards. Anthony would fall back to the 5th spot, but hung on there as he’d go on to finish 5th & round out the top-5.
It was a solid night for Anthony in the Wingless Sprint Car. He definitely had a car capable of grabbing a podium, and would end up rounding out the top-5 with a 5th place finish.
