10/18/23… Casa Grande, Arizona: Saturday Night, Austin Ervine was back in action as he took on the ASCS CAR Sprint Cars at Central Arizona Raceway. The competition would be tough as 21 Non Winged Sprint Cars checked in on Saturday Night.
Austin began the night with heat race action where he’d start 4th in the first heat race. Rolling off from the outside of row two, he’d quickly fall in line in 4th. Once in 4th, he was able to rip off some solid laps & finish in 4th.
He’d go out for the heat race & roll off from the 12th spot. Starting in the back half of the field, Austin had some work to do. He quickly went to work & started to make his way towards the front. Late in the race he’d find himself in 6th. While running in 6th, Left Front Tortion Arm Stripped from the bar. It would make it very hard to drive the car, but he’d end up being able to hold on & finish 6th.

It was a good night for Austin with the ASCS CAR Sprint Cars. If not for the late race issues, he most likely would have brought home a top-5 finish. Nonetheless, it was a good finish for Austin & his team.
