1/29/24... Press Release: This coming weekend, Austin Ervine will open up his 2024 season. He will be in action at Central Arizona Raceway on Friday & Saturday as he kicks off the season with a double header weekend in Arizona.
This will be the first two of 10 scheduled races at Central Arizona Speedway. It will also be the first two of 16 scheduled Sands Chevrolet Wild West Sprint Car Series races on his 2024 racing schedule.
It's also the first time that Austin has been on track since November. He ended his 2023 race season with the Western World Championsips at Cocopah Speedway on the 3rd & 4th of November.
Going into the season opener, Austin will look to build off a good ending to the 2023 season. As he heads into the opener, he will be looking to be more consistent in 2024 while eliminating the on track mistakes.
"This season I am looking to improve on consistency. I need to limit the mistakes & work on consistent laps and times. I’m feeling good going into this season with the way we finished last year."
His confirmed schedule consists of 16 confirmed races in the state of Arizona. On top of that, Austin has other unconfirmed races he'd like to try & attend in both California & New Mexico with the Unlimited Sprint Car Series (USCS) & the POWRI Sunset Grill 360 Non-Winged Sprint Car Series.
