By: Fast Time Media

9/20/23… Burlington, Washington: Saturday Night, Bailey Jean would be in action at Skagit Speedway for Championship Night. She would enter the night 7th in the points standings, which meant the highest she could start the feature event on Saturday would be in the 7th spot.

The night started out with time trials without the top-6 as they were locked into a scramble to set the feature lineup. With only twelve cars in action, only six cars would qualify. Bailey was able to go out & of 5th quickest out of the six 410 Sprint Cars that qualified.

Bailey would start 11th in the feature courtesy of her qualifying lap. As she started in the back, she would end up gaining some spots throughout the feature. Despite missing on the setup, Bailey would run a solid race. She stayed out of trouble & made her way to 8th where she finished the night.

“I went out first for qualifying since the top 6 were locked in and I was 7th in points. With No heat races due to the championship format so I had to guess on set up by the time our A main came around. Unfortunately I overestimated and didn’t snug the car up enough for how dry it was especially on exit so I struggled for awhile but ran 30 laps and finished 8th so can’t complain.”

Her 2023 race season has come to an end. It was a solid season as she ended up 7th in the final 410 points standings at Skagit Speedway. Bailey was also able to stay out of trouble all season & avoid wrecks. They will be sending her 410 back to get freshened & ready for next season.

“Our season is done and we are excited to send our 410 to Don Ott to get a nice well needed refresh! We went the whole year with no accidents or broken parts and finished 7th in season points!“

Bailey would like to thank her sponsors; JM Bass Trucking, TR Barrett Inc, Bickford Motors Inc, Dunlap Industrial Hardware, Art By Nature, Buzz Inn Steakhouse, Sharon and Fred Crabtree, Product41, Jason Sucich, Pacific Logging LLC, Crew Members, Family, and Friends.
