Bailey Jean Grabs 12th Place Finish at Skagit Speedway!

By: Fast Time Media

7/26/23… Burlington, Washington: Saturday Night, Bailey Jean was back in action at Skagit Speedway with the 410 under the hood. Some of the best of the West Coast were in attendance, as 22 cars would be in action on Saturday.

Bailey started her night out with time trials, where she would be the 14th of 22 cars to hit the track. Bailey would battle a tight car & with times being so quick through the field, she timed the Bailey Jean Racing #14B 15th quick overall.

“Qualifying I was way too tight and was just fighting the car to turn so we ended up 15th which looking at the times, I wasn’t far off the group in front of me. We just needed that extra tenth from qualifying to crack the top 10.”

In the heat race, Bailey rolled the 14B off from the 5th spot on the inside of row three in the 5th spot. Rolling off from 5th, the track would be hooked up & hard to pass. When the checkered flag fell, she finished where she started in 5th.

“The heat race was boring per usual, the track was still hooked up & it was more or less a dyno session around the top with a few ruts to avoid. I was able to retain my spot in the heat race, and after a few others didn’t make their heat races I was able to start 13th for the feature.“

When the feature rolled around, Bailey started on the inside of row seven in the 13th spot. After some adjustments between the heat race & feature, Bailey was able to get more comfortable on track. She would rip off some consistent laps, keeping up with some very good drivers & finishing 12th.

“I had a good friend, Derek Roberts come over after qualifying & really help me dial in on the set up. After taking his notes & applying them to our car we had an absolute rocketship for the main. Of course the 12th place finish doesn’t show the speed but to be able to keep pace with some bigger names I was really pleased with our adjustments.“

Another solid night is in the books for Bailey Jean & her team. She continues to try & get comfortable as he logs more laps behind the wheel of the 410.

Bailey would like to thank her sponsors; JM Bass Trucking, TR Barrett Inc, Bickford Motors Inc, Dunlap Industrial Hardware, Art By Nature, Buzz Inn Steakhouse, Sharon and Fred Crabtree, Product41, Jason Sucich, Pacific Logging LLC, Crew Members, Family, and Friends.
