Billy Aton Grabs 10th Place Finish at Douglas County Dirt Track!

6/20/23… White City, Oregon: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Billy Aton would be in action in both Oregon & Washington for the Fastest Four Days in Motorsports. His weekend was highlighted by a 10th place finish at the Douglas County Dirt Track.


Thursday began with qualifying, as Billy was the 6th car to hit the track. He would end up going 12th quickest overall. That put Billy starting 3rd in the heat race. Starting 3rd Billy would fall back one spot & finish 4th.


Billy rolled off from the 12th spot for the Thursday feature. He would get a good run going in the feature as he would move forward. When the checkered flag fell, Billy finished in the 11th spot on Thursday Night.


Friday would be the best night of the weekend for Billy. It began with time trials, where Billy went 14th quick. Next up was the heat race where Billy rolled off form 5th.Starting 5th, Billy would finish the heat race where he started in the 5th spot.


That put Billy starting 14th in the feature event. He put together another good run on Friday Night. Starting 14th, Billy began his charge forward. He would end up gaining 4 spots & finishing the feature event in the 10th spot.


Coming off a top-10, Billy went into Saturday at Willamete Speedway for Night number three. He began the night by timing in 14th quickest overall. That started him 6th in the heat race where he would finish.


Going into the feature, Billy started deep as he rolled off from 17th. Starting deep, Billy would once again move forward. While it wasn’t the result he wanted, Billy was still able to gain 3 spots & finish in the 14th position .


Sunday would see them cross over to Washington & head to Grays Harbor Raceway. He would be the 20th car to hit the track & ended up 21st quick. In the heat race he started 7th, but was able to gain three spots & finish in the 4th spot.


The final feature would be filled with drama. Billy started 13th & would try & move forward in the feature. It would end up being a caution filled race, that was called short & would see Billy end up in the 12th position.


It was a good weekend for Billy throughout West Coast. He brought home some consistent results, where highlighted by a 10th place finish on Friday Night.
