5/3/23... Antioch California: Saturday Night, Billy Aton & his team would be back in action at Antioch Speedway with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars. A solid field of 20 Winged 410 Sprint Cars would make the tattoo & be ready to roll on Saturday Night.
The night would get starting with qualifying, where Billy would be the 20th & final car to hit the track. Despite going out late, Billy would still be able to put down a solid lap, which would end up putting him 14th quick overall.
Next up for Billy would be his heat race, where he would roll off from the 5th spot. Starting 5th, it was follow the leader early on, as Billy kept pace with the leaders. With a few to go Corey Day would spin putting Billy 4th. He would then go on to hold Corey Day off, with a photo finish for 4th.
Billy would then line up in the 12th spot for the feature event. Billy would then have a ton of speed early on in the feature. He would battle forward, getting into the top-10 at one point. Then he would end up starting to slip backwards & finishing in the 14th spot.
Overall, it was a good night for Billy Aton & the team. They would have a lot of speed & were able to keep up with the guys in the front for most of the night. They'll continue to improve as they head into this weekend at Silver Dollar Speedway.
