5/23/23... Petaluma, California: Saturday Night, Billy Aton would be in action at his home track of Petaluma Speedway with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars. Billy would have some good speed, and would bring home a 10th place finish on Saturday.
The night would get started with qualifying, where Billy would be the 5th car to hit the track. Going out 5th, Billy would lay down a solid lap. That would end up putting 12th quickest overall out of 14 NARC 410 Sprint Cars.
Billy then started his heat race on the outside of row three in 6th. It would be tough to pass all night & heat races would be no different. Billy would end up finishing his heat race where he started in the 6th position.
He would then start the 2nd dash from the pole & track position continued to be very important. Starting on the pole, Billy would jump to the early lead. He would go on to lead every lap & bring home the dash win.
That put Billy starting 7th in the feature event. Starting 7th, Billy would battle some very good drivers in the feature. He would engage in battle with Corey Day, Chase Johnson, and Dylan Bloomfield. He would fall back to 10th, where he finished the feature event.
It was a pretty solid track at his home track for Billy Aton. He would have really good speed & battled with some of the best. He now has a week off before heading to Placerville Speedway on June 3rd.
