11/2/22…Bakersfield California: Saturday Night, Billy Aton and his team would make the trip to Kern County Raceway Park for the second to last race of the 2022 NARC season! A solid field of 20 Winged 410 Sprint Cars would be in attendance for a great night of racing!
He start his night out as he would go out for single car qualifying looking to lay down a good lap. He would end up going out and laying down a tough lap that would put him 19th quick out of the 20 Winged 410 Sprint Cars.
In the heat race Billy would be scheduled to roll off from the 7th spot. However he would end up starting 6th with another driver having issues. Starting 6th, Billy would quickly fall in line in the 6th spot and go on to finish there.
Billy would then roll off from the 18th spot in the feature. He would show some solid speed as he would battle with some top 410 drivers. Billy would end up getting himself up to the 13th spot where he would finish the feature and end his night on a solid note!
It was a solid night overall for Billy. He would struggle in qualifying but once it came to feature time he was able to make some smart moves and keep his car out of trouble. That would be enough to bring home a 13th place finish.
