Billy Aton Puts Together Solid 2023 NARC Campaign!

By: Fast Time Media

12/12/23... Press Release: This season, Billy Aton would run his 3rd full season with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars. The 2021 NARC Rookie of the Year has been a staple of the NARC Series across the West Coast & that was no different this season.

The season began in April, where Billy would face some struggles to start the season off. After a trio of tough nights, the NARC return to Antioch saw a solid finish for Billy. He would end up finishing in the 14th position that night.

Heading into June, Billy looked to turn around a tough start to the season. He would do just that during the Fastest Four Days in Motorsports. He'd make the feature every night & finished no worse than 14th. That included a 10th place finish at the Douglas County Dirt Track.

Going into the following weekend, it would be the biggest race of the 2023 season for Billy, as he ran the Dirt Cup at Skagit Speedway. While the results don't show it, Billy had good speed all weekend. He'd win a heat race on Thursday, and run in a transfer spot in the B-main on Friday before getting upside down & ending his weekend.

Billy would make his way back to California, where they'd have just 6 NARC races left on the schedule. Stockton would eventually cancel one of their remaining two NARC races, leaving just 5 races left for Billy in 2023.

He'd put together his best stretch of the season. On July 8th, he'd finish a season best 7th in Petaluma, before finishing 13th at Ocean Speedway the following weekend against the toughest night of NARC 410 competition in California all year.

After that, Billy wouldn't run again until October where he'd run at Kings Speedway, and finish with a pair of top-10 finishes, finishing 8th & 9th in the Twin-20 features. Billy then finished 17th at KCRP in late October & 11th to end the season at The Stockton Dirt Track.

During November, Billy would then be invited to Sonoma Raceway to run the Sprint Car on the asphalt at the Turn 11 portion of the track. It would be a cool invitational event to get more eyes on the sport & it was a solid way for Billy to end the season.

Overall, it was a pretty solid season for Billy, as he put together another solid NARC campaign across the West Coast. He'd end up grabbing a 7th place finish in the points, which included 4 top-10 finishes along the way.

Billy would like to thank his sponsors; TPU Transport, Products Unlimited, Bill Aton painting, Red Line synthetic oil, Triple X chassis, MTFX Graphics, Sellers race wings, K & T truck repair, D & H construction services, Demoltion Services & Grading Inc., and Plant Reclamation.
