5/28/24… Chico, California: Saturday & Sunday Night, Brody was back in action at Cycleland Speedway. It was a big double header weekend at Cycleland Speedway as Brody took on the SRT Spring Challenge!
Brody began the weekend with time trials. He would be the first of 27 Karts to hit the track. Laying down a time of 13.986, Brody would time in 2nd quickest overall. That put him straight into the dash where he’d start on the inside of row three in the 5th spot. From there, he’d gain a spot & finish 4th.
That set Brody to start the feature on the outside of row four in the 8th spot. After some early wrecks, the race went green & Brody went to work. He quickly was able to move forward getting up to the 2nd spot. On a late race restart, he fell back to 3rd & finished the feature there.
Going into Sunday, Brody started time trials bein by the 13th car out this team. Not much timed with his time, as put down a lap of 13.867 which was enough for him to time in 2nd quick. That locked Brody into the dash, where he’d start in the 5th spot & fall back to finish 6th.
Once again making the feature, Brody started on the outside of row five in the 10th starting spot. Brody was quickly able to get to work & begin his charge forward. He ended up charging forward to the 3rd spot where he’d finish the feature event.
It was another really good weekend for Brody at Cycleland Speedway. He continues to rack up podium finishes & is getting closer & closer to grabbing his first outdoor win of the season.
