9/26/23… Chico, California: Friday & Saturday Night, Brody Robfogel was back in action at Cycleland Speedway. The Robfogel Racing Team rebuilt the car for Brody for the Grandpa George Trophy Night at Cycleland Speedway.
Brody would start the night out with time trials, where he went out & went 2nd quickest overall. That lined him up in the 5th spot in his heat race. Brody was able to gain one spot & finish the heat race in 4th. That locked Brody into the dash where he would start & finish 5th.
Going out for the feature event, Brody would start in a good spot as he would roll off from the 5th starting spot. Starting 5th, Brody was able to hold onto the spot. As he battled in the top-5, Brody would end up finishing in the 5th spot.
Coming into Saturday, Brody would look to continue his solid weekend & would end up doing just that. Brody started the night out as the first car to hit the track for qualifying. He would end up laying down a decent lap & timing in 7th quick.
That set him up to start the heat race from the outside of the front row in 2nd. He was able to gain one spot, as he grabbed the lead & went on to win the heat race. Once again, Brody would make the trophy dash where he would start in the 4th spot & finish there.
Heading into the final race of the weekend, Brody would start in the 4th spot courtesy of his trophy dash finish. As he started 4th, he looked to improve from Friday’s finish. Brody would do just that, as he finished the feature in the 4th spot.
It was a really good weekend for Brody & the Robfogel Racing Team. Brody was able to show off some impressive speed & was able to bring home two top-5 finishes.
