8/31/23… Chico, California: Saturday Night, Brody Robfogel was back in action at Cycleland Speedway. He would be back aboard the Restricted Box Stock. Brody put together a strong night before being wrecked early in the feature.
The night started out with qualifying, as Brody was the 20th of 25 Restricted Box Stocks to hit the track. Despite going out late, Brody would lay down a solid lap. That lap was good enough to put the driver of the #4B 7th quickest overall.
He then rolled off in his heat race from the inside of the front row in 1st. Starting on the pole, he quickly jumped out the lead. After taking the lead, Brody would dominate the heat race as he went on to lead every lap win the heat race.
Brody would make the redraw & pull the one, putting him on the inside of row one on the pole. He would again jump out to the lead. Unfortunately, on lap two Brody would get spun out. Two cars would then get into Brody as he had nowhere to go. That brought his night to an early end.
It was a tough ending to what was a potentially great night for Brody & the team. He had a solid night going, heading into the feature before he was spun & had his night ended.
