5/16/23... Petaluma California: Friday Night, Bryant Bell would be back in action with the WMR Midgets where he would finish 4th. That would be followed up on Saturday with a visit to Petaluma Speedway where he would take home his 2nd win of the season!
Friday would get started with heat races, where he would roll off from the inside of row three in 5th. Bryant would carry his speed over from hot laps, where was quickest overall. He would end up grabbing two spots & finishing in the 3rd spot.
That would put Bryant starting 5th in the feature event. It would end up being a rough one lane track around the bottom. He would end up gaining just one spot & rolling the car into the trailer with a 4th place finish.
"In the main we started 5th and ended 4th," Bryant continued. "The track was super one lane and very rutted up so it was a win just to roll the car back in one piece!"
Saturday would once again start off with heat races, as Bryant would roll off from 3rd on a very tricky track. Starting 3rd, Bryant would have some really good speed. Bryant would gain one spot & end up finishing the heat race in 2nd.
After the pill draw, Bryant would start the feature on the pole. Early on, he would fall backwards to 3rd. However, Bryant would work his way back towards the front & when the checkered flag fell he would grab his 2nd win of the 2023 season.
"We were fortunate enough to start the feature on the pole. They did alot of track work and the track was looking very hooked up so Tony worked his magic on the car and had it on rails," Bryant stated. "In the early laps i fell back to 3rd but tried to stay smooth and found my way back to the lead and grabbed the 2nd win of the season!"
It was another good weekend for Bryant Bell & his team. He had really good speed all weekend & was able to pick up his 2nd win of the season.
