Bryant Bell Captures WMR Win at Ocean Speedway!

8/14/23… Watsonville, California: Friday & Saturday Night, Bryant Bell was back in action with the WMR Midgets. Friday saw Bryant grab the win at Ocean Speedway, while Saturday saw his feature come to a quick & early win at Marysville Raceway.

Friday started out with heat race action where Bryant started out on the pole. Starting 1st, Bryant went on to win the heat race. He would start 2nd in the main event & it was an exciting one. Early on there would be a three car battle for the lead. Bryant came out with the lead & went on to grab the win!

“We had a very good pill draw which placed us pole for the heat race and the car felt amazing and we were able to pick up the heat race win,” Bryant stated. “I started 2nd in the main and had a great 3 way battle the opening laps and at the end came out on top! The track was super sick and it was fun to rip the lip!”

Saturday Night, Bryant was in action at Marysville Raceway, once again with the WMR Midgets. For the heat race, he once again started on the pole. Rolling off from first, Bryant would go on to grab the heat race win.

After the pill draw, Bryant started on the outside of the second row in the 4th spot. Unfortunately, his race came to a quick end. On the first lap, the fuel pump would go out & that would end his race.

“I was able to roll off from pole and win are heat race,” Bryant continued. “We started 4th in the main and made it about half a lap before the fuel pump went out. I felt like I had a great car and maybe could have raced for a win but mechanical failures are a part of racing.”

It was an up & down weekend for Bryant Bell. The high of winning on Friday was followed up by the low of a DNF on Saturday Night. Despite that, Bryant continues to impress & have a ton of speed whenever he hits the track.
