8/1/23… Watsonville, California: Friday & Saturday Night Bryant Bell was back in action with the WMR Midgets. He would put together a very good weekend, as he brought home a pair of runner-up finishes at Ocean Speedway & Antioch Speedway!
Bryant started the night with heat race action, where he would roll off on the inside of the second row in the 3rd spot. Starting 3rd, Bryant quickly move forward to the lead. Once in the lead he went on to grab the heat race win.
He pulled the six for the invert where he’d roll off for the feature event. Starting 6th, Bryant quickly got himself to the 4th spot. Once in 4th, Bryant began to make moves & get into the 2nd spot. He tried to track down the leader but ran out of time & finsihed 2nd.
“We started up front in the heat race and was able to hold off for the heat race win. I pulled a 6 for invert so we had are work cut out for us. I quickly made my up to 4th and stayed there for the first part of the main then found my grove and got up the 2nd and was trying to challenge for first but was to late and the checkered flew.”
Saturday, Bryant was in action at Antioch Speedway once again with the WMR Midgets. The night started with heat race action where Bryant rolled off from 4th. Starting 4th, Bryant would quickly get to the lead but spin out. He would keep going but have to go to the back, where he made his way back through the field & finished 1st.
Once again, he would pull the six pill for the invert & start the feature in 6th. Starting in 6th, Bryant would charge his way forward. Saturday would end very similar to Friday, as Bryant would get to 2nd & finish the feature there.
“I started 4th in the heat and got to the lead early and spun out but kept it going. I drove back through the field and won are heat. I pulled a 6 pill for the invert again and we made our way up to 2nd and that is where we finished!”
It was a very good weekend for Bryant Bell and his whole team. He came so close to grabbing another win on the season, both Friday Night & Saturday Night!
