5/9/24… Watsonville, California: Friday Night, Caleb Debem was in action at Ocean Speedway. It was the fourth points race of the season as Caleb had brought home a pair of 4th place finishes to open the season up.
He began the night on Friday with Time Trials. He would be the 3rd of 11 Winged 360 Sprint Cars to hit the track. Caleb didn’t end up laying down the lap that he wanted. A time of 12.138 was enough to time in 9th quickest overall.
Caleb’s qualifying time would put him in the back of his heat race. He rolled off on the inside of row three in the 5th starting spot. From there, he would try to move forward but ended up finishing where he started in the 5th spot.
That put Caleb in the 9th starting spot for the feature event on the inside of row five. Starting 9th, Caleb started moving forward & getting to work. He ended up getting up to 6th where he’d finish the feature event.
It was a solid night for Caleb for Points Race #4 on the season. He was able to bring home another top-10 finish which was his fourth of the 2024 racing season so far.
