5/8/23... Watsonville California: Friday Night, Caleb Debem & the team would be back in action at Ocean Speedway with the Taco Bravo Winged 360 Sprint Cars. 15 Winged 360 Sprint Cars would be in the pit area, ready to roll on Friday Night.
The night would get going with qualifying, as Caleb would be the 15th & final car to hit the track. He would end up laying down a time of 12.295. That ended up being good enough to put Caleb 11th quickest overall.
In the heat race, Caleb started on the outside of row three in 6th. It would be pretty tough to pass in the heat race. He would end up gaining one spot, moving forward to the 5th position where Caleb would finish in the heat race.
Caleb would roll off from the inside of row six in the 11th spot for the feature. Once again he would battle brake issues in the feature. Despite the issues, Caleb would battle forward, gaining three spots & finishing the feature event in 8th.
"I had another brake issue, my line snapped off during the main. I took it slow & passed three cars."
Overall, it was a solid night for Caleb & his team. He would bring home his first ever top-10 in a Winged 360 Sprint Car despite it being just his third ever race behind the wheel.
