6/13/24: Watsonville, California: Friday Night, Caleb Debem was once again in action at Ocean Speedway. This time, the field would be small, with just eight Ocean Speedway Taco Bravo Sprint Cars in attendance on Friday.
Caleb would begin the night with time trials. He was the 4th of eight Winged 360 Sprint Cars to hit the track & time in. When it was all said & done Caleb was able to time in well, going 2nd quickest overall with a time of 11.834.
That set him up in the 4th starting spot on the outside of row two for his heat race. Starting 4th, Caleb was able to charge forward. He’d get up to the lead, before going on to pull away & win the heat race.
Going into the feature event, Caleb started on the inside of row two in the 3rd spot. Starting 3rd, Caleb would once again charge forward. After a mid race battle, Caleb grabbed the lead & never looked back. He’d hold off a late race effort to take the lead & grab his first career Sprint Car win at Ocean Speedway.
It was a great night for Caleb at Ocean Speedway. He was the fastest car all night long, and it showed. Ultimately, Caleb would grab his first career win & continues his consistent start to the season.
