8/15/24… Watsonville, California: Friday & Saturday Night, Caleb Debem was in action at Ocean Speedway to end what has been a successful 2024 season at the track. When the weekend was all said & done, he’d grab the track championship.
Friday started out with time trials where he was the 19th car to hit the track. Despite going out late, he’d still time in 10th quickest overall. That set him up in a solid spot for the heat race where he’d roll off from 3rd & finish 2nd.
As they went out for the feature event, Caleb would start in the 7th spot on the inside of row four. He was able to move his way toward, gaining a trio of spots. As the checkered flag fell, Caleb would finish in the 4th position.
Saturday Night would go similarly to Friday. Caleb went out a little earlier, but would still end up timing in 11th quick. The heat race saw him roll off from 3rd again, but this time he’d lose a spot & ended up finishing in the 4th spot.
Caleb started the feature a little deeper than he did on Friday as he rolled off from the 11th spot. Once again, Caleb was able to move his way forward. Much like Friday, he’d gain a trio of spots & ended up finishing in the 8th spot.
It was a great weekend for Caleb at the biggest race of the season for him. He was able to compete with some of the best 360 drivers on the West Coast. Caleb would also end up locking up the track championship on Saturday.
