Cameron La Rose 4th at Central Arizona Raceway!

By: Fast Time Media

5/9/24… Casa Grande, Arizona; Saturday Night, Cameron La Rose was back in action at Central Arizona Raceway. After nearly a month off from being behind the wheel of the Sprint Car, it was time to roll for Cameron.

He started the night out with heat race action. He rolled off from the outside of row two in 4th. Quickly he went to work. He made a pass for 3rd & quickly began to reel in 2nd. Cameron came up short of 2nd & would finish 3rd.

That set Cameron up to roll off from the inside of row five in the 9th starting spot. Once again, Cameron would go to work in the feature. He slowly picked off cars & made his way to 4th around halfway through the feature. Despite some restarts & Cameron would settle for a 4th place finish.

“Started 4th in the heat, got shuffled around on the start but was able to get into 3rd & run down 2nd but wasn't able to get by him. That put us starting 9th in the main. We were able to pick off cars & get into 4th around half way,” Cameron added. “Despite efforts & restarts I wasn't able to make any moves. The car has been battling us & it's been a chore to drive so hopefully I can get that sorted & improve at the next race.”

It was a really good night for Cameron at Central Arizona Raceway. There was a strong field of cars & Cameron had a top-5 car all night long & brought home a 4th place finish.

Cameron would like to thank his sponsors: Mears Mechanical, Forty-Nine Motorsports, Top Side Roofing, Ron Gilson Photography, Adobe Mountain Speedway, GWC Media, Tim Mihocko Racing, Robbie and Gaye Allen, Topside Designs, TwentyRT.com, Adam Beller
