11/14/23... Casa Grande, Arizona: Friday and Saturday Night, Cameron La Rose was in action in the Winged 360 Sprint Car. It was one of the final times he'd be in action this weekend, as he was running with the ASCS Southwest Region.
Cameron began Friday Night with heat race action. He'd go out for the third heat race where he'd roll off from the outside of row two in 4th. Starting 4th, he'd end up holding his spot. Cameron would go on to finish where he started in 4th.
That would set him up for a 12th place starting spot for the feature event. When the green came out, Cameron began to move forward. He'd end up gaining a couple of spots, going from 12th to go on & finish in the 10th spot.
Saturday Night, Cameron was back in action for Night Two of the double header weekend. This time, he'd start the heat race from the pole. He'd try to hang onto the lead, but fell to 2nd where he'd go on to finish the heat race.
As they entered the feature, Cameron would look to grab another solid finish. He'd roll off from the outside of the fourth row in the 8th spot. The feature went well for Cameron. He'd stay inside of the top-10 & would go on to finish the 8th spot, ending the weekend.
It was a really good weekend for Cameron & the 49 Motorsports Team. Cameron would finish inside of the top-10 both nights against some very good competition, including an 8th place finish on Saturday Night.
