10/18/23… Casa Grande, Arizona: Saturday Night, Cameron La Rose was back in action at Central Arizona Raceway. This time, he would battle the ASCS CAR Sprint Cars as he looked to put together another solid night.
Cameron kicked the night off with heat race action where he’d roll off from 5th. Quickly, Cameron was able to find his way to 4th. Once in 4th, he would hold onto the spot. He would stay in 4th & would go on to finish the heat race there.
“In the heat race I started 5th. Got to 4th but just was a little off & couldn't make enough speed to get more spots.”
Going into the feature, he would roll off from the 11th spot & had some work to do. He’d quickly begin to make his way forward. As the race went on, Cameron was able to fight forward & found himself in 3rd. In the later stages of the race, the car began to free up & Cameron would have to fight to hang on to 3rd.
“Started 11th in the main & was able to work up to 3rd. Unfortunately the car got a little too free at the end which would put us finishing up 3rd.”
Overall, it was another good weekend for Cameron, as he put together another solid night & managed to find his way back on the podium. As the end of the season nears, he will be looking to end it on a strong note.
