Cooper Marchant 9th in Petaluma!

5/14/24… Petaluma, California: Saturday Night, Cooper Marchant was back in action at Petaluma Speedway. After two weekend’s off, Cooper was ready to roll on Saturday Night with the Wingless Sprint.

He started the night out with time trials where he was the 4th car to hit the track & time in. Early on, Cooper struggled to figure the track out & that hurt his time in time trials. He ended up timing in 14th quickest overall.

That set him up to start on the inside of row four in tne 7th spot for his heat race. From there he’d battle hard but still struggled with the track conditions. After starting 7th, Cooper would finish where he started in 7th.

Cooper started deep in the feature event as he rolled off from the outside of row seven in 14th. The team made some adjustments before the feature & it definitely helped in the feature. He was able to move his way forward & went on to finish the feature event in the 9th spot.

“It was a successful night for us. We beat the goals we set for ourselves Saturday. I struggled to figure out the track & the car early in the night. We did a lot of work before the main & really dialed in the car. It drove very well during the main. There was a couple of highlight moments in the main event, some close calls. We survived & will get ready for the next race.

Overall it was a solid night for Cooper on Saturday. Despite struggling early on in the night, Cooper & his team were able to figure things out & improve during the feature event.

Cooper would like to thank his whole crew, Dayman Barker, Mike Terry, Aiden Webb, & his dad for all the great work they did. He’d also like to thank Marcus Hardina for really dialing in the set-up.

Cooper would also like to thank his sponsors: AFEX Graphics, Ed’s Custom Trailer Beds, Slade Precision Shocks, & CalFleet.

Cooper’s 2024 racing stats: 3 events, 2 features, 0 wins, 0 top-5’s, 1 top-10’s
