8/16/24… Petaluma, California: Saturday Night, Cooper Marchant was back in action at Petaluma Speedway. He would be in action with the Wingless Sprint Series as he looked to have a strong night on Saturday.
The night started out with heat race action. It was a two heat format, and Cooper rolled off from the 2nd spot for his first heat race. Starting in 2nd, Cooper ended up slipping back to the 5th spot where he’d finish.
Going out for his 2nd heat race, Cooper would start on the inside of row three in the 5th spot. From 5th, Cooper would end up holding onto the spot. He’d go on to finish the final heat race where he started in the 6th position.
Cooper would go out for the feature event & roll off from the outside of the fifth row in the 10th spot. From the 10th spot, Cooper was able to stay out of trouble. He’d gain a pair of spots & make his way up to the 8th position where he ended up finishing the feature event.
Overall it was a pretty solid night for Cooper as he continues to get more laps under his belt. When it was all said & done, he’d finish the weekend a with a top-10 finish.
