Dalton Parreira 14th at Mark Hagopian Memorial!

By: Fast Time Media

9/28/23… Visalia, California: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday Night, Dalton Parreira was back in action at Keller Auto Raceway for the Mark Hagopian Memorial Race. The field would be stacked as 42 Super 600’s were in attendance & ready to roll last weekend.

Thursday would start out with Dalton in Group B. He would go out & time in 7th quickest out of the 21 cars in his group. That started him on the outside of the front row in the 2nd spot for his heat race. As he started 2nd, he would go on to finish where he started in the 2nd spot.

Dalton went out for the Group B feature event & would roll off from the inside of row four in 7th. The feature started out on a tough note, as he would spin out & have to go to the back. Despite spinning out, Dalton would battle his way back to an 8th place finish.

Going into Friday, Dalton would be in Group A. He began the night in qualifying where he wouldn’t get the lap he wanted. He ended up getting behind the 8 ball as he timed in 15th quick in his group. He then started on the inside of row three in 5th for the feature & finished there.

In the feature, Dalton would have to start deep but would make his way through the field. He would mount a charge from 14th to the front. Once the checkered fell on the feature, Dalton would finish in the 5th spot.

As they went into Saturday, they’d jump straight into feature action with no qualifying or heat races. Dalton started the B-main from the inside of row two. Starting 3rd, Dalton fell to 4th but would hang on to a transfer spot.

That set Dalton up to start on the outside of the tenth row in the 20th spot in the feature. As he started 20th, Dalton would once again move forward. This time, he would charge forward to the 14th spot & finish there.

It was a solid weekend for Dalton & his team. He would have a great car all weekend & was one of the best cars. Unfortunately, a 14th place finish doesn’t show off the speed they had all weekend & how good Dalton was.
