Dalton Parreira Captures Pair of Top-5’s in Central Valley Double Header!

By: Fast Time Media

5/2/23... Visalia California: Friday Night, Dalton Parreira would be in action at Plaza Park Raceway for Night one of a double header weekend for Dalton. A solid field of 18 Winged 600 Micro Sprints would be in action on Friday Night.

He would start his night with qualifying, where he would be the 18th & final car to hit the track. By the time he went out, the track had slickened off. That would make it tough, and Dalton would end up 11th quick overall.

"Went out dead last, slick track. Missed my line both times in 1 and 2, ended up 11th out of 18."

That would line Dalton up on the inside of the front row on the pole for his heat race. Starting 1st, Dalton would grab the early lead. Once he grabbed the lead, he would go on to lead every lap of the heat race & grab the win.

"I started 1st in the heat race & got a good jump and just took off with it."

For the feature event, Dalton would roll off from the inside of row 6 in the 11th spot. Starting 11th, Dalton would slowly start picking off cars & making his way through the field. He would end up driving his way to the 4th spot where he would finish.

"Started 11th and picked off cars left and right, my dad killed it on the setup. Ended up 4th, really fun night of racing."

Saturday, Dalton would make the trip to Lemoore for the 2nd race of his double header weekend. A field of 13 Winged 600 Micro Sprints would be in attendance on Saturday Night.

The night would get rolling with qualifying, where Dalton would go out pretty early this time. He would be the 3rd car out, and this time would set a pretty solid time down. That would end up putting Dalton 5th quick out of 13 cars.

"Went out 3rd set a decent lap, ended up 5th out of 13. Good enough to keep me in the invert."

He would then roll off from the outside front row of the heat race. Unfortunately, on the initial start, he would have to fall in line in 2nd. He would end up rolling around in 2nd for the rest of the heat race & finish there.

"In the heat race I started 2nd, tried jumping it a little didn’t work out & I ended up 2nd"

That put Dalton on the inside of row two in the 3rd starting position for the feature event. The race would take a while to get going but once it did it was a good one. Dalton would battle for the lead early on but ended up falling backwards. He would fall back to 4th where he would finish & end his weekend.

"We started 3rd in the main event & had multiple cautions at the beginning," Dalton stated. "I battled for the lead for a while, but fell back to 4th for the rest of the race. Hard too beat Kj Snow this weekend, he was flying."

It was another great weekend for Dalton Parreira. He would grab a pair of top-5 finishes as he continues to put together a very consistent start to the 2023 season.

2023 season stats: 4 events, 4 features, 0 wins, 2 top-5's, 4 top-10's
