Dalton Parreira Charges To 6th at Keller Auto Raceway!

By: Fast Time Media

8/22/23… Visalia, California: Friday Night, Dalton Parreira was back in action at Keller Auto Raceway. He would look to continue a solid run of consistent finishes. He did just that on Friday Night, as he would charge forward & bring home a 6th place finish on the night.

He began Friday Night with qualifying. Dalton was the 1st of 11 600’s to hit the track & qualify. Unfortunately, he would pull the one & go out on a greasy track. That would hurt his time & Dalton ended up timing in 11th quick overall with a time of 11.055.

Going into the heat race, Dalton lined up in the 5th starting position. With a new engine in under the hood, it would take some getting used too. The track had slicked off for the heat race, and he would end up finishing in the 6th position.

“In qualifying I went out first and it was a little greasy. So the track got faster as the cars came out & I ended up 9th. The track slicked off for the heat race, and I really found out how my new 2mil will be like. I spun the tires a lot, and knew it was nothing like my stock motor.”

That put Dalton starting in the 11th & final spot for the feature event. Early on he struggled to get going. However, after a late race yellow he began to move forward. Dalton began passing cars & gaining positions. Once the checkered flag fell, Dalton had moved his way from the 11th spot to 6th where he finished.

“The first few laps of the main event, I felt off and wasn’t going anywhere. Had an early yellow, and just started passing guys. Wish I had more yellows, I could’ve definitely finished better than 6th.”

It was a solid ending for Dalton after a tough start to the night on Friday. He got better as he figured out his new engine & had a really fast car by the end of the night.
