Dalton Parreira Grabs First Win of 2023 in Lemoore!

By: Fast Time Media

5/23/23... Visalia, California: Friday Night, Dalton Parreira would be in action at Plaza Park Raceway for some Friday Night action. His night would not end how he wanted, as he would get upside down. On Saturday, Dalton would be in action at Lemoore Raceway where he would rebound to grab his first win of 2023.

Friday started with qualifying, where he would be the first car to hit the track. Dalton would not get the lap he wanted & ended up 13th quick out of 16 cars. That lined Dalton up in 7th for his heat race. He would charge forward to the 5th spot where he would finish.

"Qualifying I missed my line and wasn’t comfortable anywhere on the racetrack. Ended up 13th out of 16

Heat Race started 7th and had some fun, got the car rolling and finished 5th after some battling."

That put Dalton lined up 9th for the feature event. Early on he would get caught up in a Dirty Driving call & was penalized, sending him to the back. He would be unable to get into a rhythm & would end up getting upside down, ending his night there.

"A couple laps in to the main event, I got caught up in a dirty driving call, which i was pretty upset about. Got penalized to the back and couldn’t really get rolling again, and got caught up in the cushion and flipped. Bent the Front Axle and got both wings."

Saturday, Dalton would head to Lemoore Raceway, where he would look to improve from Friday Night. He would get off to a better start, going 5th quick overall. That lined him up 2nd in the heat race, where he would go on to finish.

Dalton would then start the feature from the 5th spot. He would move forward early, getting to 3rd. Then a caution would come out & stack the field back up. Dalton would get to 2nd, and follow KJ Snow. KJ would eventually make a mistake & Dalton would capitalize, grabbing the lead & going on to lead the last 5 laps.

"In the main event I started 5th and got rolling right away. Threw some sliders, and then had some work to do, to catch Boethlo and Snow. Caught up to them in lap traffic and a caution struck," Dalton continued. "Started 3rd and got an excellent start, was ripping behind KJ and he made a mistake and I shot for the lead. Led the last 5 or so laps and brought home the win."

It was a good way to end the weekend for Dalton. He would rebound from a tough Friday & grab his first win of the 2023 race season.
