5/25/23... Tulare, California: Saturday Night, Dawson Faria would be in action at the Tulare Thunderbowl with the USAC CRA Sprint Cars at the Chris & Brian Faria Memorial. He would end up bringing home an 8th place finish on Saturday Night.
The night got rolling with time trials, as 16 USAC CRA Sprint Cars would hit the track. Dawson would end up laying down a time of 16.411. That would be enough to put the driver of the 12B 11th quickest overall.
Dawson would then roll out for heat race action. Early on he would jump out to the lead, leading a handful of laps. Unfortunately, he would end up slipping backwards & finishing the heat race in the 5th position.
He would start the feature event out from the 11th spot on the outside of row six. Dawson would run a really good feature. He would slice & dice with the best of them & would move forward from the 11th position to finish 8th.
It was a good night for Dawson behind the wheel of the Non Winged 410. In just his second USAC 410 race of the 2023 race season, Dawson would end up bringing home a top-10 finish.
