4/28/23... Press Release: Here at Fast Time Media, we are excited to announce that we will be working with & representing Drake Standley for the 2023 race season. Drake is the 19 year old driver of the Lovell Standley Racing #54s Winged 360 Sprint Car.
Drake would fall in love with racing at a young age. His dad would race Crate Sprints at his home track of Silver Dollar Speedway. One day, him & his brother Seth would convince their father to take them to a race at the nearby Cycleland Speedway.
It was there where they would become intertwined with racing forever. After the race, they would get in contact with Ed Brown about getting a Box Stock. At the age of 9, Drake would begin his young racing career in Outlaw Karts.
Early on, it was kind of a struggle for Drake. He wouldn't do too much at the beginning of his career. However, when he got into an Open Intermediate, he would make his mark.
Drake would run races at both Cycleland Speedway & the Red Bluff Indoor track. It was there that he would impress in the Open Intermediate class. Between both tracks, he would take home 7 wins & 8 Trophy Dash wins.
He would contend for the Open Intermediate points championship. There he would be in a tight battle with Dominic Gorden. Drake would end up taking the points title capping off an impressive year.

This year, Drake continues to run Winged 360 Sprint Cars as he continues to improve when he hits the track. Most of Drake's schedule will consist of races with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour, and local races at both Placerville Speedway & Silver Dollar Speedway.
It's going to be a solid year for Drake as he looks to get better & better every time he hits the track!
