11/8/23... Red Bluff, California: Saturday & Sunday Night, Drake Standley was in action with the Red Bluff Outlaws. He'd take on Points Race #2 on Saturday & The "Tyler Wolf Memorial" on Sunday Night!
The night would start out with Drake being the 22nd car out for qualifying. With a time of 9.49, Drake times in 37th quickest overall. That set him up to lineup in 8th for heat race action where he'd go on to finish 7th & have to go to the D-main.
After missing a transfer spot, Drake went on to lineup 7th in the D-main. He was right outside of the transfer spot & looked to get into the top-6. Unfortunately, he'd fall back to 8th where he finished & Saturday night!
On Sunday, Drake looked to put together a better night. He'd roll out for qualifying as the 28th car to hit the track. Once again, Drake didn't get the lap that he wanted & ended up 34th quickest. That set him up to roll off from 7th in the heat race. This time Drake went on to finish in the 8th spot.
That set Drake up to roll off from the 5th spot in the D-main. This time, he'd go on to finish the D-main in the 3rd spot & make the C-Main. In the C-main, Drake started in the 13th spot. It seemed as though he was finding speed as he was able to move forward. This time he'd come up just short as he went on to finish 8th & end his weekend.
While it was a tough weekend for Drake, he seemed to find speed on Sunday Night. He moved forward in both the D-main & the C-main, but came up just a short of a transfer to the B-main.
