By: Fast Time Media

1/29/24... Press Release: This coming weekend, Evan Gularte tackles one of the biggest Outlaw Kart Races in the country as he will be in action on February 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Evan will take on the High Desert Hustle at the Reno-Sparks Livestocks Event Center.

With a big race like this in Nevada, it gives Evan an opportunity to do something that he's never been able to do. He will be able to race in his home state for the first time ever.

It will also be one of the bigger pay days that you'll see for an Outlaw Kart race. The High Desert Hustle will pay $10,000 to the winner. It will also pay $500 to make the main event, with a $1000 Sportsman bonus.

The event is expected to draw in Outlaw Kart drivers from around the country with the big money on the line. With six different divisions in action this coming weekend, you can expect hundreds of drivers in action as well as a ton of great racing action at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center.

Despite the tough competition, Evan will be no slouch in his home state. He's had an impressive winter season in the Indoor Outlaw Kart ranks. He grabbed his first Open 500 win at the Red Bluff Indoor Track, and finished an impressive 3rd place at the Timber 50 finale.

"I am super excited to be racing in my home state for the High Desert Hustle in less than a week," Evan continued. "It feels great to race on some home grounds for once. I would love to have an impressive run for my home state & get a solid finish!"

You can expect to see Evan running up front this coming weekend. He will have a good chance to grab a home state win, or at the very least contend up front.

The action begins Thursday February 1st, continues Friday February 2nd, & finishes Saturday February 3rd.

Evan would like to thank his sponsors: Sal Calderon Racing, Salco Better Energy, Pedrotti Materials, Gularte Racing Team, Jesse Colwell Racing, 3D Structural Engineering, Bank of Nana of and Papa, QRC Karts, and Jimmy Elledge Motors.
