3/12/24... Casa Grande, Arizona: Saturday Night, Austin Ervine would be in action at Central Arizona Raceway. It would be his second race of the 2024 race season as Austin looked to have a good run on Saturday Night.
He would start Saturday Night out with Heat race action. Austin rolled off from the outside of the front row in the 2nd spot. From there, he'd run a solid race. Austin ended up finishing where he started in the 2nd position.
Entering the feature, Austin was in a good spot as he rolled off from the pole position. Unfortunately early on the race, Austin's left rear would go flat. Despite that, he'd hang on & run every lap. When the checkered flag fell on the feature event, Austin came home in the 7th spot.
"I ran over half the main with a flat LR tire. I was able to hold on to finish in the 7th spot."
It was a good night for Austin despite the unfortunate finish. He had a really fast car on Saturday Night & was even able to start on the pole of the feature.
