6/5/24… Marysville, California: Saturday Night, Hunter Owens was in action at Marysvillr Raceway. They had the spec engine under the hood on Saturday as Hunter would take on the 360’s for the first time this season.
The night didn’t get off to the start that they wanted. Being underpowered, Hunter would end up timing in 25th quickest with a time of 13.954. Hunter then started the heat race in 7th. He ended up gaining a spot & finishing in 6th, but still had to go to the B-main.
In the B-main, only four cars transferred & Hunter would roll off from deep in the field. He would battle hard but unfortunately halfway through he he B-main he would lose power steering. At that point he just tried to stay out of people’s way & finished in the 9th spot.
“Not to much to say just rought night super tight & took a knife to a gun fight. Lost power-steering in the B main & just stayed out of the way.”
While it wasn’t the night that Hunter Wanted, he got some valuable laps with the Wing on the car & ran his first race against the 360’s on Saturday Night.
