4/19/23... Perris, California: Saturday Night, James Turnbull would make the trip to Perris Auto Speedway for some USAC CRA action. A solid field of 21 Non Winged 410 Sprint Cars would be in the pit area & ready to roll on Saturday.
The night would get going with time trials, where James would look to lay down a solid lap & set himself up nicely for the evening. He would end up laying down a solid lap, which would put him 10th quick overall in time trials.
James would roll off from the inside of row two in heat race number one. Starting 3rd, James would battle in a tough heat race. He would end up going backwards in the heat race & finishing the heat in the 6th position.
He would end up lining up on the inside of row five in the 9th position. Starting 9th, James would get rolling. Unfortunately things would take an unlucky turn for James. He would get over the cushion in turn one & go for a wild ride, ending his night.
Unfortunately, James would sustain some minor injuries. He is currently battling some vision issues & some headaches. Luckily, it seems as though James will make a quick recovery & will be back in the track in no time.
