John Clark Has Season Full of Consistency in NorCal!

By: Chris Santos

12/12/22… Fast Time Media: This past season saw John Clark take part in a lot of races across Northern California. The season would kick off for John in Chico, with the Silver Cup as John would quickly show some very good speed.

They would struggle in Placerville before returning the next week looking for some major improvements. John & the 12J team would achieve that, as they would bring home a top-10, finishing 8th among a strong field of cars.

John would make one trip to the coast, as they would travel to Watsonville California to run with the Ocean Speedway Sprint Cars. It would end up being another solid run for the 12J team as they would bring home a solid 11th place finish.

For the first time in 2022, they would pull out the 410 as John would run at the NARC double header in Chico. John would claim a pair of solid finishes with a 10th place finish & a 16th place finish to round out a solid weekend.

The Fall Nationals at Silver Dollar Speedway would bring yet another solid finish for the 12J team. The Friday Night would see John finish 11th, before a solid Saturday start would get rained out & bring the weekend to an end.

When the World of Outlaws came around, John would bring back out the 410 engine for the weekend. They would finish a solid 18th on their prelim nought before finishing 9th in the C-main event.

Just a few weeks later, John would take home the best finish of the 2022 season. As the Sprint Car Challenge Tour would travel to the Petaluma Speedway so would John. The 12J would be fast, and bring home a very good top-5 finish, finishing 5th.

One of the final races is the season, would see John make the lone trip to Antioch Speedway. Once again, John would be very fast, as they would bring home a 6th place finish in one of the final races of the 2022 race season.

Overall it would be a season full of improvements for the 12J team. John would be very consistent as they would be able to roll the car in the trailer most nights & bring home a lot of solid finishes.

“The 2022 season ended up being a great season with good improvements throughout the year. I feel like I have gotten better at qualifying as a whole from previous years. I manage to complete the season with minimal car damage which is always a plus. I had a great season at Placerville where I continued to keep improving.”

John will try & continue to run a unique schedule, as they plan to not run any points & race where they feel best. “think this was an overall good season and I look forward to next season and to race as much as possible without trying to compete with points at any track or series.”

John’s 2022 stats: 22 features, 0 wins, 1 top-5, 5 top-10’s

John would like to thank their some sponsors; CCI ELECTRICAL, VSR: VANLARE STEERING REPAIR, BUSTER’S SOUTHERN BBQ, JERRY’S VALERO, THE WELDING SHOP, JOHNNY FRANKLINS MUFFLERS, AND REDWOOD AUTOBODY.
