6/19/24… White City, Oregon: This past week, John Clark would be in action for five straight days. They would be in action with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars in Oregon & Washington for the Fastest Five Days in Motorsports.
The week started on Wednesday at Southern Oregon Speedway. John started the night out by tuning in 19th quick overall. That set them up to start & finish the heat race in the 7th spot, before finishing the feature event in 19th.
Thursday would end up being a bit of a better day for John & the team. They started out with an early qualifying spot which helped John time in 15th quickest overall. After a DNF in the heat race, John would go from 20th to 18th in the feature.
Friday didn’t start out how they wanted as John would time in 20th quickest overall. After a heat race that saw John go 7th to 7th, John would start the feature event in the 20th spot before moving up one spot to finish 19th.
Saturday was the toughest night of the week. After a 21st place spot in time trials, John moved forward in the heat race & finished 6th. Unfortunately in the feature, John would get in an incident that simply left them nowhere to go & John would have the first DNF of the weekend.
Going into Sunday, John looked to finish the weekend on a high note & did just that. Qualifying didn’t go well as John timed in 20th quick. After settling for 7th in the heat race, John gained a handful of spots in the feature. That would result in a 21st to 16th place run to end the weekend.
Overall, it was a long & grueling five days of racing up North. For the most part, John was able to stay out of trouble & only finished outside of the top-20 once, highlighted by a 16th place finish to end the Fastest Five Days in Motorsports.
