5/14/24… Antioch, California: Saturday Night, Kaleb was back in action with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars. The series would make the trip to Antioch for their sole trip to the track for the 2024 racing season on Saturday Night.
He began the night with time trials, being the 9th car in his group to hit the track. Kaleb was able to lay down a very good lap. With a time of 12.388, it was enough to time Kaleb in 3rd quickest out of 14 cars in the group.
That put him on the pole of his heat race. From the pole, Kaleb was able to jump out to lead & go on to win the heat race. He locked into the dash where he’d start in the 5th spot. Kaleb would go on to finish the dash in 6th.
“Antioch started off great. The car felt solid in hot laps so I opted out of the second set of hot laps to watch the track instead. From there we went 3rd quick in the first flight of qualifying allowing us to start pole if the heat. From the pole of the heat the car was solid enough to get the job done.”
With a 6th place finish in the dash, that put Kaleb starting on the outside of row three in the 6th starting spot. Kaleb rolled around most of the feature in the 6th spot before getting passed on the last lap & going on to finish the feature event in the 7th position.
“We started 6th in the feature, & rode around in 6th most of the main until the very end when the shark drove around me. Not a great night but not terrible. We have a lot to learn from and grown from after this weekend and really looking forward to Tulare!”
It was another solid run for Kaleb in Antioch. He had a top-10 to top-5 car all night & was able to run towards the front of the field all night. When it was all said & done, it was a 7th place finish for Kaleb to end the night.
