By: Fast Time Media

5/17/23... Hanford, California: Friday Night, Kaleb Montgomery would be in action with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars for Night one of the PMC. He would end up finishing the feature in 21st. Then on Saturday, Kaleb would finish 8th with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars & 9th with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour.

Friday would get started with qualifying. Kaleb would be the 7th car to hit the track & would end up 16th quick overall. In the heat race, he would roll off from the outside of row three in 6th. Kaleb would fall backwards, struggling to get going & finish 8th. He started the B-main from the pole & went on to grab the win, transferring to the feature.

"We didn’t qualify how we wanted to and didn’t heat race how we wanted to but got some valuable laps in the B."

That put Kaleb starting 19th in the feature, the first car out of the B-main. Starting deep, he would just try & gain as many spots as possible. However, once Kaleb would get put a lap down he would end up pulling off & finishing in the 21st spot.

"In the main I pulled off because I don’t like to mess up the leaders race when I get lapped."

Going into Saturday, Kaleb would pull out the 360 as he would run double duty. In the 410, he would go out for qualifying & end up 13th quick. Then Kaleb went out for 360 qualifying & ended up 2nd quick in his group behind Corey Day.

"Saturday in the 360 we won the normal person quick time behind Corey day," Corey added. "In the 410 side of things we didn’t qualify how we wanted to again."

The 410 heat race would see Kaleb roll off from 5th. He would end up finishing where he started in 5th. In the 360 heat race, he would end up struggling. Kaleb would fall backwards. After starting on the pole, Kaleb would finish 5th & barely make the feature.

"In the 410 I barely transferred in the heat race, In the 360, we sucked in the heat and dropped like a rock because the driver was not doing his job."

When the Sprint Car Challenge Tour feature came around, Kaleb started in the 17th spot. He would not get the start that he wanted, falling backwards. However, Kaleb would eventually get going & charge forward to a 9th place finish.

NARC 410 action saw Kaleb roll off from 13th in the feature. It would be a very racey track for the NARC feature & Kaleb would put together a great feature. He would roll around the bottom & battle forward to an 8th place finish.

"Started 13th in the feature & from there we scooted around in the bottom to 8th I believe."

It was another solid weekend for Kaleb Montgomery. Things did not go his way Friday, but he would rebound on Saturday to grab a pair of top-10's against very tough competition.
