Kyler Johnson Captures Pair of Top-10’s in Mississippi & Louisiana!

4/24/23... Hinds County, Mississippi: Thursday Night, Kyler Johnson would be in action with the ASCS National Sprint Cars for Night one of what was supposed to be a three race weekend. 21 Winged 360 Sprint Cars would be in the pit area, ready to roll on Saturday Night.


He would get his night rolling with qualifying, where he would be the 2nd car out in group number three. Kyler would end up laying down a time of 14.544. That would end up putting Kyler 3rd quickest in his group.


That would line Kyler up on the outside of the front row in a rough heat race. Starting 2nd, Kyler would battle hard in the front of the heat race. He would end up falling backwards one spot & finish the heat race in the 3rd spot.


For the feature event, Kyler would roll off from the inside of row six in the 11th spot. Rolling off from 11th, Kyler would have some solid speed in the 45x machine. When the checkered flag would fall, Kyler would finish the feature event in the 8th spot.


Thursday would end up being rained out, so it was on to Saturday at Boothill Speedway for another ASCS National Sprint Car race. Another solid field of 19 Winged 360 Sprint Cars would pack the pit area looking to end the weekend off on a strong note.


This time, Kyler would go out for qualifying in the 2nd group. He would be the 4th car out in his group. Kyler would up laying down a time of 12.869. Once again, that would end up putting Kyler 3rd quick in his group.


He would go out for his heat race & roll off from the outside of the front row in the 2nd starting position. Once again, Kyler would have some tough battles in the front of his heat race. Kyler battled hard, but would finish the heat rsce in the 4th position.


When the feature event rolled around, Kyler would end up rolling off from the 11th spot on the inside of row twelve. Starting deep, Kyler would once again show some solid speed. He would start to battle his way forward & finish the feature event in the 9th position.
