Kyler Johnson Grabs Pair of Top-5 Finishes During Three Race Weekend!

6/22/23…Sapulpa, Oklahoma: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday Night, Kyler Johnson would be in action with the ASCS National Tour for three nights of racing. That would be highlighted by a 5th place finish on Friday, and a 3rd place finish on Saturday.

The weekend began on Thursday, where Kyler was the 7th car to qualify in his group. He ended up going out & going 5th quickest in the group. That started him in the 5th spot for his heat race. Kyler went on to finish where he started in 5th.

He then started the feature event from the 15th position. Starting 15th, Kyler would have his work cut out for him in the feature. He gained a trio of positions, going from 15th to 12th & finishing in the 12th position.

Friday, Kyler was in action at Humboldt Speedway. He began his night as the 2nd car to qualify in group two. He would improve from his Thursday efforts and go 4th quick in his group. That started him on the pole of his heat race where he would go on to grab the win.

In the feature event, Kyler started on the outside of row number four in 8th. Starting 8th, Kyler would run a very good race. He once again would gain a trio of spot. This time he would go from 8th to 5th & round out the top-5.

Saturday, Kyler would be in action at 81 Speedway to end the three day weekend. He started out going out 3rd in group number three. Kyler ended up going 3rd quickest in the group. That started Kyler 2nd in his heat race & he would go on to finish there.

Kyler would start the feature event on the pole. Starting 1st, Kyler would have his best run of the 2023 season. He battled up front all race, and would end up bringing home a 3rd place finish to round out the podium.

It was an impressive weekend from Kyler Johnson & his team. They had their best runs of the season on Friday & Saturday. Kyler continues to get closer to getting the first win of the 2023 season.
