5/25/23... Longdale, Oklahoma: Saturday Night, Kyler Johnson would be back in action with the ASCS National Sprint Cars. He would take home a 14th place finish on Saturday & charge forward to a 4th place finish on Sunday.
Saturday got started with qualifying, where he would be the 3rd car out in group one. He would end up going 4th quick in his group. That lined him up on the pole of his heat race. Kyler would end up falling backwards & finishing the heat in 3rd.
That lined Kyler up 14th in the feature event. Starting 14th, Kyler would not have the feature that he wanted. He would battle right outside of the top-10 & would end up bringing home a 14th place finish.
On Sunday, Kyler would look for a better result than Saturday Night. He would roll out for qualifying as the 3rd car in group two. Kyler would end up going 2nd quick in the group. He would then start 2nd in his heat race & would fall fall back to finish 4th.
Kyler started the Sunday feature in the 11th spot. In the feature, Kyler would have the car rolling. He would charge forward, quickly getting into the top-10. He wouldn't stop there, getting into the top-5 & finishing in the 4th spot. He would even earn the hard charger award.
It was a solid weekend for Kyler Johnson in Oklahoma. He would take home a solid finish on Saturday, then on Sunday he would improve that finish & came home in 4th.
