7/27/23… Park City, Kansas: Saturday Night, Kyler Johnson was back in action at 81 Speedway with the ASCS National Sprint Cars. Kyler put together a solid night, that would result in an 11th place finish to end his night.
Kyler got the ball rolling with qualifying, where he would be the third car to hit the track in group three. Going out in group three, Kyler was still able to lay down a solid time. A time of 14.756 would be good enough for 3rd quick in his group.
That lined Kyler up on the outside front row in the 2nd spot for his heat race. Starting outside front row, Kyler would be in a good spot for the heat race. However, Kyler would fall backwards a spot, finishing the heat race in 3rd.
He lined up for the feature in the 12th spot on the outside of row number six. Starting 12th, Kyler was able to stay out of trouble & run a solid race. When the checkered flag fell, Kyler was able to bring the #45x home in the 11th spot.
It was a solid Saturday for Kyler & his team They had some good speed & brought home a solid finish. Kyler was able to roll it in the trailer in one piece & nearly had a top-10 finish.
