9/12/23… Burlington, Washington: Saturday Night, Levi Kuntz returned to action at Skagit Speedway with the Sportsman Sprint Cars. It was the second to final race of the 2023 race season for Levi at Skagit Speedway.
Levi would start the night off on Saturday with time trials. Levi & his team would try something new on Saturday in qualifying. He would be the 3rd of 22 Sportsman Sprint Cars to hit the track & he would end up timing in 15th quickest with overall.
That started him in the 5th spot on the inside of row three in the 5th starting spot. Only four cars would transfer to the feature event so Levi would need to gain at least three positions. Once the green fell, Levi would quickly try & get into the top-4. As the heat race went on, he continued to move forward & ended up finishing in the 3rd spot.
Going into the feature event, Levi was slated to roll off from the 9th starting spot. He would continue to show his speed from throughout the night in the feature event. After start 9th, Levi was able to move his way forward to the 5th spot, going plus four spots & finishing his night there.
Levi’s final night at Skagit Speedway for the 2023 race season is on Saturday Night. He will come into the night 4th in the Sportsman Sprint Car points standings & can start no deeper than in the 6th spot for the feature event.
